How to delete your data
Last updated: September 13, 2026
1. Disconnect an outlet
Sign in at panel.wordspost.com, open Connections, and press Disconnect next to the account. The access token is erased from our database immediately, and we stop making any calls for that account from that moment.
2. Remove WordsPost from the platform
The same can be done from Meta's side, and it revokes our access even if you cannot reach the panel: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → find WordsPost → Remove. Instagram and Threads accounts connected through a Facebook Page are covered by the same removal. The token we hold becomes invalid the moment you do this.
3. Delete everything we hold
Write to [email protected] from the address your account is registered to, and ask us to delete your data. We confirm what is stored, delete it within 30 days, and write back when it is done. This covers your account, your projects, the articles and posts we produced for you, the connections and their tokens, and the logs that mention them.
What deletion does not touch
Posts and articles already published stay where they were published — on your website, your Page, your channel. They are yours, and they are outside our reach. Delete them there if you want them gone.
We may keep records we are required to keep by law — an invoice, for instance — for as long as the law requires, and nothing beyond that.
